Tuition Fees

Tuition fees vary depending on the institution, location, and course chosen. Here are some annual tuition fee estimates for institutions in the UK:

  • Undergraduate: GBP 12,000 to GBP 35,000
  • Post-Graduate: GBP 10,000 to GBP 30,000

Scholarships

The UK offers a wide range of scholarships that attract international students. These scholarships range from GBP 1,000 to GBP 6,000, depending on the student's academic excellence.

Living Expense

The cost of living depends on the location of your study. To obtain a student visa, you need to show proof of sufficient funds:

  • £1,334 per month (up to 9 months) for courses in London
  • £1,023 per month (up to 9 months) for courses outside London
  • The funds must be held for at least 28 consecutive days and should be within 31 days of your visa application date.

Language Proficiency

UK universities accept a range of standardized English proficiency tests. The requirements vary based on the level and course selection:

  • International Foundation Year: UKVI IELTS – 4.5 Bands no <4.0, PTE: 45
  • Bachelor's & Pre-Master's: IELTS/UKVI IELTS: 6.0 Bands no <5.5, PTE/UKVI PTE: 59 no <55
  • Master's: IELTS/UKVI IELTS: 6 to 6.5 Bands no <5.5, PTE/UKVI PTE: 62 no <51
  • Some universities accept MOI (Medium of Instruction) and Grade 12 English subject scores.

Stay Back Period

After completing a bachelor's or master's, students get a 2-year post-study work permit and may be eligible for a TIER 2 visa after that.
