Expense at Studying in UK

Overseas fees can range from £ 4000 to £ 18,000 per year, depending on the institution , the level of course and the type of course. As we are international students we are suppose to pay overseas fees.

Living in UK

A Tier 4 General Student must show that he/she has:
£ 800 per month for living costs if the student is studying in inner London for the majority of his/her study (more than 50% of their study time); £600 per month for living costs if the student is studying in outer London or anywhere else in the United Kingdom, for the majority of his/her study (more than 50% of their study time).

Working in UK
  • Student can work during term time from 10 hours to 20 hours per week
  • Increse your job category is in the shortage list it is easier to get a work permit
How to Apply for Admission

APPLYING FOR UNDERGRADUATE AND POSTGRADUATE COURSES

  • Application forms aviailable at SUCCESS OVERSEAS offices free of cost.
  • One can apply to numerous Universities and colleges.
Deadlines
  • Certain Universities have deadlines
  • Most Universities do not have deadlines but it is advised to apply at least 6/8 months in advance.
Intakes

The main intake offered by all Universities is September/October few universities offer January/February intake also.
Colleges offer courses for January/April/June/September intake.
Documents Required for an Application

  • Valid Passport copy
  • Attested copies of mark sheets of Std. X to final degree
  • Transcript in sealed envelop (if applicable)
  • At least 2 Academic refrence letters from professors who have tought you most frequently and knows you well an can comment on your professional abilities.
  • Personal Statement and Curriculam Viate/Resume.
  • Photocopied score reports of GMAT / IELTS / TOEFL if available & required.
  • Portfolio (in case of Student applying for art and design courses).
  • Others ( certificates / achievements at the State and National Level and extra curriculam activities).
Academic Requirements
Undergraduate
  • 55% and above for humanities in XII th
  • 60 and above for Science, Commerce, Engineering in Std. XII / Diploma
  • Second Class could also be considered by some universities if there is some additional qualification/experience
  • Completed/will complete 18 years of age before joining a degree program
Postgraduate
  • 55-60% and above in 1st degree is required by most of the universities for Masters and research courses.
  • Full time work experience of at least 1-3 years after 1st degeree required by many univerisities for Management Programs (MBA). The same may vary from university to university
  • For Management Program (MBA), some universities have a minimum entry age of 25 years
English Requirement
  • IELTS minimum score of 6-6.5 Bands for Postgraduate and 6.0 Bands for Undergraduate Studies
  • TOEFL iBT score of more than 80 for postgraduate and undergraduate studies
  • Exemption is possible if student has scored 70% in English Language in Std. XII (English Medium) & if medium of instruction throught school & college was English
Entry Clearance and Immigration Regulations

Entry info the UK will be managed by the UK Border and Immigration Agency with the introduction of the new points based system (PBS).

You need 40 points to be able to apply for a student visa and must provide the proof needed with your appplication form.
Points Proof and Documents needed
30 Visa letter or confirmation of acceptance for studies issued by your approvd education provider
10 Bank Statement confirming that you have enough money availabe to cover your course fees and mnthly living costs for up to one year, at the time you submit your application
